Ultrasound Imaging (Sonography) Courses

Course Duration: 6 Months / 3 Months / Short Courses

This course equips students with fundamental physics skills relevant to ultrasound waves, their specific frequencies, and their ability to penetrate the depths of the human body. Participants will learn to apply these skills to conduct ultrasound scans, exposing them to human anatomy and enabling the diagnosis of various diseases and conditions.

**2. Vascular Ultrasound (Colour Doppler)**

Course Duration: 3 Months

In this program, students will gain advanced practical knowledge in the physics of sound waves, specifically focusing on their application in vascular ultrasound. This specialization allows students to measure the specific velocity of the human circulatory system and diagnose issues like blockages and blood clots in arteries and veins.

**3. Musculoskeletal Ultrasound**

Course Duration: 6 Months / 3 Months

The Musculoskeletal Ultrasound course delves into ultrasound physics, frequency manipulation using different transducers such as linear arrays, and the practical aspects of scanning muscles, bones, tendons, and ligaments. Students will demonstrate their proficiency in applied anatomy and physiology of the musculoskeletal system and diagnose various musculoskeletal pathologies, ensuring patient safety and expertise in probe selection and positioning.

**4. Trans Vaginal / Endo Vaginal Sonography (TVS)**

Course Duration: 1 Month / 15 Days / 10 Days

This course focuses on equipping students with the skills required for trans-vaginal scanning, enabling the diagnosis of various gynecological pathologies and understanding the normal anatomy of pelvic organs. Participants will become adept in knobology, scanning principles, transducer selection, and image optimization during scanning.

**5. Fetal Colour Doppler Imaging**

Course Duration: 1 Month / 6 Weeks

The Fetal Color Doppler Imaging course is an intensive training program designed to enhance skills in performing fetal scans. It offers a deeper understanding of fetal anomalies and their management, involving demonstrations, discussions, and hands-on practice with normal and abnormal cases.

**6. Advanced Small Parts Ultrasound Course**

Course Duration: 6 Weeks

This program covers the fundamental principles of ultrasound equipment usage during scans, with a focus on neck, breast, and scrotum anatomy and physiology. Students will perform safe and accurate ultrasound scans of the neck, breast, and scrotum.

**7. Echocardiography**

Course Duration: 6 Weeks / 3 Months

Echocardiography familiarizes health professionals with the basics of cardiovascular imaging techniques and fundamentals.

**8. International Licensing Program**

**American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)**

The courses are nationally and internationally recognized, and upon course completion, students will meet the requirements of the American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) for licensing. The program imparts practical skills related to ultrasound physics and knobology and provides expertise in general abdominal scans and Obs Gynae applications. It aims to prepare students for the advanced ARDMS licensing exam in ultrasound techniques, enabling them to become ARDMS members upon completing the prescribed syllabus and examination requirements.
